Dr. Fiona Beddoes-Jones

Dr Fiona Beddoes-Jones is a Chartered Psychologist and Chief Executive of The Cognitive Fitness Consultancy. She has more than 25 years’ experience in industry and consultancy and is widely published in the areas of learning and development, training and coaching, leadership and team building, and trainer development.

Fiona completed her doctoral research in the area of Authentic Leadership in 2013 working with senior officers from the UK’s Royal Air Force and UK business leaders, out of which emerged the 3 Pillars Model of Authentic Leadership and the 10 Principles of Authentic Leadership.

She is the author of the psychometric instruments Thinking Styles™, Think Smart™, Cognitive Team Roles™ and the Authentic Leadership 360™ and has written one previous book on relationships, Thinking Styles – Relationship Strategies That Work!

Fiona is Race Psychologist for the annual Montane Spine Race.  Billed as Britain’s most brutal race, the Spine Race is an ultra-endurance marathon over 7 days in early January up the full-length of the UK’s Pennine Way. She is also Race Psychologist for the 2017 Ice Race, the race to the North Pole.

Fiona is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Institute of Directors, the Association of Business Psychologists and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
